About the Association of Building Consultants Inc.
The Association of Building Consultants Inc. was formed in Adelaide, South Australia, in 1991 and remains the leading South Australian membership organisation for independent building consultants.
Our members offer a range of inspection and advisory services, including independent technical advice and reports, pre-purchase inspections and construction reports, expert reports for building disputes and court cases, termite inspections, engineering advice on structural matters, designs for new and existing buildings and energy efficiency reports.
Members of the Association of Building Consultants are committed to the Association’s Code of Practice.
Our objectives
One of the main objects of the Association is to educate home buyers and investors on the benefits that come with having a pre-purchase inspection conducted by a reputable and experienced building consultant.
We are pleased to regularly contribute to media coverage on a range of important issues.
We are committed to enhancing the quality of services provided by our members through a professional development series that offers up-to-date technical information provided by guest speakers.
